Reflection.

Accounting is a very important subject as we deal with money everyday. Among all the topics that I have learnt in this subject I liked topic 1.1 which is about accounting concepts. I got to learn a lot a bout accounting from that topic. I learned about the accounting principles and its purpose in the field of accounting. However the topic that i least enjoyed was the topic 3.0 which is about balance day adjustment. The topic was great but I had a hard time coping up because I got confused. Nonetheless I managed to overcome my problem and understand that topic well. The topic that i find would be useful in my future would be the ratio calculation and interpretation topic. This is because with the interpretation from the accounts, I would know the state of the business, whether is it doing good or bad. This knowledge is very useful as it can help me organize my business in the future.

Final Group Assignment

For the final group assignment i paired up with my friend, Jian Yuen. We were assigned to calculate the ratios and interpretation of a company. The company that we chose to analyse on was Dell Inc. Based on the balance sheet and income statement that we got from the company's website, we managed to accomplish the assignment together. It was interesting as we got to know how well the company was doing just by calculating and interpreting the company's background. The report of our assignment is attached at the bottom of the page.
