Financial Management

 

Introduction

This module provides an introduction on financial management that we are aquired to learn. As this subject is more of a business related subject, most of the financial terms are very foreign to us. There are many theories and formulas to this subject. However this subject is imortant to us as it is a basic knowledge for everyone to have. 

 

Assignment 1

For this assignment, we were assigned to produce a report on a listed developing company called Hua Yang Berhad. The company is a well established company that develops affordable houses for the community for many years. The fact that it is a listed company, the company is very big and financially stable. However the aim of this assignment was to study and undertand how to interprate the company's growth and financial position. Hence, we had to do a financial anaylsis report based on the guidelines given by the lecturer.

 

Presentation

Based on the financial analysis that we have done, we had to summarise the report and present it to the class. The presentation was a formal presentation evaluated by the lecturer. Based on the assignment, I presented the current state of the company and the strategies they use to run the company.
