Construction Supply Chain Management

 

Introduction

This subject is an elective subject that we get to choose from a list of other elective subjects. This subject is basically teaching us how to apply and incorperate the business in construction industry. the subject provides us knowledge on how to manage the suppliers of services and materials in the construction industry.

Assignment 1

This assignment is an individual assignment were we students were given a brief to recommend a suitable development on a piece of land. The brief was that the developing company that we work in bought a land beside 1 Utama Shopping Center and i recommended to develop a resort which features a mandmade beach, a casino and a world class resort. I prepared a proposal regarding the recommended idea and submitted my assignment to the lecturer.

 

Assignment 2

For this assignment, we worked in groups of 6. THe assignment was to research on the available BIM sofwares in the market and how it helps in the construction business. The latest BIM software now has the 7 Dimension feature which could really enhance and enable us to work in a more efficient manner at present.
