Introduction

The topics covered for building services 1 are ventilation, telecommunication, sewage system, storm water management, and hot and cold water supply. These are important aspects that needs to be looked into  when designing a good and sustainable building. The knowledge obtained from this subject is useful in the future as in construction field we have rules and regulations to follow.

 

Assignment 1

The task of this assignment was to write a report in relevant to the lectures delivered in class and to prepare a presentation regarding the report. My group had chosen sustainable wastewater management for our report. The sub topics that we touched on were the installation process, the management process, the problems faced without proper wastewater management and so on so forth. It was an interesting assignment because I got to add on my knowledge based on the topic that i was assigned to. Besides that, the presentation for the report also gave me the opportunity to speak up in front of a crowd. That gave me a moment to boost up my presenting skills and communication skills as it is important to know how to deliver a message through presenting. What more when I had the chance to present the report that was already done.
