Measurements 2

 

Introduction

Measurement 2, is something similar to measurement one but the only difference is where we measured all the foundations and frame of the building. In measurement 2, the only structure we learnt was the concrete staircase structure and the only foundation learnt was pile foundation. The main focus was revolving around the finishes of the building, ceiling finishes, floor finishes,  and wall finishes. We also learnt how to take off brick walls, internally and externally as well as partition.

 

Assignment 1

This group assignment was quite interesting as it had a big different with the project we did last semester. We were assigned to measure 3 classrooms, a washroom and a Lecture Theatre. We needed to measure external and internal wall finishes, floor finishes and ceiling finishes too. we were also grouped into teams of 5 students per team. With that, we divided ourselves to calculate a room each.
